Tonight I saw a funny and thought provoking production of All’s Well That Ends Well in the big Elizabethan Theatre at OSF. The lead actress, Royer Bokus, is very talented and compelling. There were also several actors present from last night’s play who again did solid jobs here. All the acting was great, and they also mixed in a bit of Pat Benatar music along the way. The play starts out very funny, but turns a little dark when the husband won by service to the king fails to follow through on the marriage. Ultimately the heroine maneuvers him and all ends well — sort of. It was a nice pleasant evening to be outside, and I very much enjoyed the production.
