During a week where my schedule kept bouncing around, I managed to get together with my Colorado based collaborator Jessa Ray. We first worked together a couple a years ago in Colorado in the foothills outside of Denver. We also worked previously at my house. This week we decided to try and explore up on Mount Diablo.
This week I had scheduled a day to work with her, and then I had a dentist appointment scheduled for the next day. She missed a train connection, so we had to reschedule time. Then my dentist’s milling machine broke and I needed to reschedule that appointment. So I again rescheduled with Jessa. I was trying to avoid potential crowds around the Memorial Day weekend. As it was we didn’t really see any people until we were leaving. It was a nice, but not overly hot day and we had a pleasant hike.
Afterwards, we got some late lunch/early dinner in a nice Mexican restaurant down in Danville. I was totally exhausted when I got home. It was a good day, but I still have the dentist to deal with.
