Falstaff Shakespeare

MWOWI went to SPARC‘s production of Sir John Falstaff and the Merry Wives of Windsor, a mild adaption of Shakespeare’s comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor. I was joined by Bob and his friend Cindy. It was a mild night although we did get swarmed by a bunch of insects right after intermission. The play was a bit of a mish-mash as they only had a few cast members to play many parts. It was set as a western, pulling in a bit of local history and place names. I was a little unimpressed although it did pull it together nicely in the end. This may be my only Shakespeare or live theater for the summer, but I hope not.
