Così fan tutte

I joined Bob and headed down to Opera San Jose to see a production of Mozart’s opera Così fan tutte. This is the first opera I’ve seen in quite a while. It was a warm sunny day as we are in the last gasps of summer weather. The production was very enjoyable with a cast of just 6 performers. The maid was particularly funny using comic, non-operatic, voices at times. The production also had a bit of a silicon valley twist by having the audience vote at intermission on which couples would end up together. A nice taste of opera for the year.
