I made my way up to Ashland without incident this year, and the weather was clear and the skies were blue. After getting settled in, I went and bought a belt, the only item I’d forgotten to pack.
The first play in this year’s OSF visit was Macbeth. They did a pretty good job, and it has an interesting take. They emphasized the passion between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth more than usual. The Weird Sisters were appropriately creepy. The actress playing Lady Macbeth did a particularly good and effecting job.
