Today I had an opportunity to shoot with a wonderful model who I’ve never worked with before, Vivian Cove. She has worked on several UTadventure tours, but not on any of them that I have been on. She is relatively new to modeling (about the same amount of time that I’ve been photographing models), but is an amazing poser. Her background in dance and movement seems to have helped her a lot.
The weather was a bit of a challenge. For a week, it had been forecast to be sunny and warm, and then as the day of the shoot approached the predicted temperature kept dropping. On the day of our shoot it started out foggy and was pretty chilly. We managed it by alternately moving our shooting frequently back into the house after a few brief periods outside and in the garage. I think we managed to get some really nice shots, although I need to get better at my light-painting techniques. Vivian is based locally, so I look forward to being able to shoot with her again in the future.
